To Buy or Not to Buy

Just got a call from the Vancouver Canucks asking if I would be interested in buying season's tickets for next year.

I was about to tell the guy to go away, until he mentioned finding some Playoff tickets for me if I signed up. Playoff tickets for this year. For every home game.

Well, he got my fax number and now I'm seriously considering buying tickets again.

Damn.

More British than the British

Having gone to Victoria for 3 days of training, I have had the chance to re-discover the provincial capitol of British Columbia. I have visited the city a few times over the last few years, but I haven't spent a lot of time here.

Having the ability to play tourist, I am amazed at how touristy downtown Victoria actually is.

Wrightism

I am a fan of the comedian Steven Wright. This is one of my favourite quotes:
I went to a restaurant that serves "breakfast at any time". So I ordered French Toast during the Renaissance.

In the course, we were asked to identify the kind of work we like and create a folder of the examples.

While surfing around today, I found that Ron Krisel has done my work for me by creating a folder of his own work, which I really like:

Random Collection

I decided to put together a (sort of) random collection of images.

The first 3 are pinhole shots, the next 5 are 35mm, there are 2 infrared tree pictures and the remainder are from my Holga.

Self Portrait

I have an exhibit of my photographs (and cameras) coming up, so I decided to do a self-portrait. I was at a friend's house doing a photo shoot for her, and while she was changing into some clothes she wanted to wear, I took the opportunity. I wish I could have had more time to play with the idea, but this is what I got:
