Beautiful Standards Site
I am always on the lookout for current standards-compliant sites to use examples for my Web Development course. During my weekly reading of the Information Design mailing list, I saw an entry for UX Mag, a new online venture dedicated to the frequently misunderstood field of User Experience.
Not only does the site boast XHTML Strict code, but it's design is driven by CSS that sports a convertible design allowing the layout to display 2 or 3 columns, depending on your browsers viewport size.
I immediately set about to deconstruct the site to see how they put it together and discovered that the beautiful design is, in fact, driven by elegant code.
It's a beautiful site, inside and out. Take a look: UX Magazine.
