Canada Election 2000 Summary
Well, another federal election day has dawned for Canada, and the political face of the nation is getting a nose-job.
While the Alliance and Stockwell (Doris) Day has been fighting a good campaign, I believe Jean Cretien will come out on top once again.
A minority government is certainly a possibility, which I think would be bad for the nation. But it would force the MPs to actually show up for work on a regular basis, especially for those all important confidence votes.
Well, it is the beginning of the day. A mere 10 hours from now, we shall know who our next Prime Minister is.
And, God spare us the lengthy, drawn-out show that has been the American presidential race for the last 3 weeks.
