My Palm IIIxe looks like it saw the bad side of a gang war. Okay, it's just a crack in the back of the case, but it looks pretty bad. I called Palm Canada (actually a company called Keating Technologies) as instructed by Palm Support to discuss a replacement.

I was ready for a fight. I had heard that having your Palm replaced because of a defect can be as difficult as getting your KlearKote included in the price of your car.

Pleasant suprise, however. They answered almost right away (only about 2 minutes of Celine Dion hold music) and promptly offered a replacement! I have to mail it in, and they'll courier it back.

That was easy!
